
A Lawmaker representing Kajola State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Azeez Musibau Akintola (Action) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Hon. Adegoke Thomas Abiodun Animasaun, former Leader of the House in Kajola Local Government Area and former Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Late Adegoke Thomas represented Kajola State Constituency between 2011 and 2015 under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) during the administration of the Late Governor Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi.
Hon. Adegoke Abiodun Animasaun, who also chaired the House Committee on Health, was widely recognized for his commitment to improving healthcare policies and initiatives across Oyo State.
According to Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action), in a statement said his tenure was marked by progressive ideals, effective representation, and strong grassroots engagement, which earned him the respect and admiration of his constituents and left a lasting impact on the Ayetoro-Oke Community, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the entire Oke-Ogun region, and the people of Kajola State Constituency.
Describing the late lawmaker as a dedicated legislator and loyal political associate, Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action) commended his contributions to legislative development, community service, and political growth.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late lawmaker, Ayetoro-Oke Community, CAN, political associates, friends, and the people of Kajola Local Government Area and Oyo State, praying that God grants eternal rest to his soul and strength to all those mourning his loss.
