


Oyo State Retired Primary School Teachers and Local Government Staff across the globe have expressed their gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde and the management of Local Government Staff Pension Board for adopting on line I Am Alive Screening for diaspora pensioners in the ongoing exercise.
As part of its statutory mandate, the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board conducts I Am Alive Screening Exercise to ascertain pensioners that are still alive and those that have died.
The pensioners screened were so elated and used the opportunity to appreciate the governor for providing numerous welfare packages for all pensioners since his assumption of office in May 2019 till date.
The Chairman of the Board, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige also used the video call sessions to interact with some of the pensioners in the diaspora.
Hon Ige who explained the process said pensioners across the globe fill the online form and send their proxies to the Board to complete the process via video call. This is done in order to ascertain that the pensioner is alive.
As part of the monitoring team for the screening exercise, the Permanent Secretary and Acting HLGA, Local Government Staff Pension Board, TPL Olufemi Akinwale and Mr Musibau Ladele respectively said the management of the Board has achieved great success in this year screening exercise through the support and cooperation of all relevant stakeholders.
