Q: What was your reaction to the appointment of Distinguished Senator Biodun Olujimi as Deputy Director, South Women Mobilisation for the PBAT Second Term Campaign Committee?

Ans: I received the news with great excitement and a deep sense of fulfilment because, in my opinion, this is an assignment that perfectly reflects the capacity, experience and political strength of Distinguished Senator Biodun Olujimi, popularly known as SBO.

This is a woman who has spent several years building relationships with people across different levels of society. She understands grassroots politics, she understands women, she understands young people and, most importantly, she understands how to communicate with people in a way that inspires confidence.

I strongly believe that the confidence reposed in her for this responsibility is well deserved. Senator Olujimi has the experience, influence, courage and organisational ability required to contribute significantly to women mobilisation across the South.

Q: Why do you believe Senator Biodun Olujimi is particularly qualified for this important national assignment?

Q: Senator Biodun Olujimi’s strength lies in her combination of experience and grassroots connection.

Ans : There are political leaders who understand policy, and there are leaders who understand the people. Senator Olujimi represents a combination of both.
She has demonstrated capacity in public service and politics, but she has also maintained a strong relationship with ordinary people. Her ability to interact with market women, community leaders, professionals, young people and political stakeholders makes her an effective mobiliser. She is confident, articulate, courageous and highly experienced in political engagement. These qualities are extremely important in an assignment that requires the mobilisation of women across different communities and political structures.

Ans : Her influence is not accidental. It is a product of years of engagement, accessibility and service.
Senator Olujimi has built relationships with people at different levels. She has consistently demonstrated interest in the welfare and development of women, young people and communities.
That is why many people see her beyond politics. They see her as someone who understands their challenges and is willing to listen.
Her influence comes from the confidence people have in her.
In politics, you can have a position, but influence is something you earn. Senator Olujimi has earned the respect and loyalty of many people through years of interaction, service and commitment.
