The great people of Ido-Osi Local Government and Isokan LCDA are fully prepared and eagerly set to receive His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in grand style on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Publicity Committee for the Governor’s campaign visit to Ido- Osi and Isokan, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre,
According to the statement, the forthcoming visit is expected to be a colourful, peaceful and highly significant political engagement, designed to further deepen the bond between Governor Oyebanji and the good people of Ido-Osi and Isokan.
Barrister Ojo-Lanre described Governor Oyebanji as a leader whose administration has continued to demonstrate sincerity, humility, performance and uncommon commitment to the development of Ekiti State.
He noted that the Governor’s visit is not merely a political rally, but a celebration of continuity, trust, performance and people-focused governance which has endeared him to communities across the state.
“Ido-Osi and Isokan are ready. Our people are prepared to receive a Governor who has governed with calmness, compassion, intelligence and visible results. This is a call to all sons and daughters of Ido-Osi and Isokan to come out in their numbers and show appreciation to a leader who has kept faith with Ekiti people,” the statement said.
The Publicity Committee called on party members, community leaders, youths, women, artisans, market leaders, transport unions and the general public to come out massively to welcome the Governor.
The committee further disclosed that adequate arrangements are being made community mobilization and proper documentation of the event.
It also urged party faithful and residents to maintain orderliness, peace and discipline before, during and after the campaign visit, stressing that the event must reflect the dignity, maturity and political sophistication of the people of Ido-Osi and Isokan.
The statement added that the May 5 campaign visit will offer the people another opportunity to reaffirm their support for continuity, stability and the consolidation of good governance in Ekiti State.
