The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land Chief Ayo Onike has said that the threat by United States President to intervene in the killings of Christian in Nigeria should make President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to sit up and wipe out terrorism in Nigeria.
Speaking in Ibadan against the threat issued by President Trump to intervene regarding terrorism and the killings of Christians in Nigeria, Chief Folorunso popularly known as Ayo Onike said the threat by President Trump is good omen to Christians that God is listening and answering their prayers noting that if Trump had not issued the warning and subsequent threat the Fulani who are disguised as terrorists would have continued the killings and occupation of Christians villages in the north and other part of Nigeria.
He stated that with the development, President Tinubu is forced to sit up and enjoined his military chiefs to work towards exterminating terrorist who are killing innocent Christians and occupying their villages and lands.
The Balogun Babalaje pointed out that he is particularly elated that things will take a new shape because the killings of Christians will no longer be politicized as it will be given the necessary attention it requires instead of the kid gloves it is being handled.
He implored Nigerians not to exercise any fear as American soldiers will only be deployed to affected areas and not every part of Nigeria stressing that other form coercive measures will equally be used such as sanctions and stopping of aids.
