The immediate former Chairman of Igboukwu Town Union Sunday Anozie has urged Ndigbo in Oyo state and beyond to emulate the virtues of late Ezendigbo of Ibadan land and Oyo state Eze Dr Alex Chukwudum Anozie who died two years ago in his palace.

Anozie explained that late Eze Dr Anozie was a very peaceful man who preached peace and practiced peace noting that these attributes are enough to make Ndigbo emulate his virtues.
He noted that besides being peaceful, late Eze Anozie worked assiduously for the growth and progress of Ndigbo stressing that he was always championing the cause and unity of Ndigbo apart from preaching moderation regarding the quest for money or wealth.

“Late Eze Anozie though never preaches poverty but he stressed the need to be moderate in the quest for wealth pointing out that with this he was able to preach and practice the obeying of law and order.

He stated that the late Ezendigbo would be greatly missed because of his legacies and policy which are geared towards making the society peaceful and progressive .

Anozie therefore enjoined Ndigbo to emulate this virtues and principles which brought about peace and progress among them before his death which he noted was unexpected.

“ Even though he was aging but there was nothing to suggest that he would die when he did because he was hail and hearty the evening before his death when we were together only for them to call me the following day by 5.00 am that he was not feeling well after which he was rushed to the UCH where he was confirmed dead by Doctors “ he disclosed.
