The Vice President of Igbo Christian Fellowship Chidebe Ikegwuonu has disclosed that incumbent Anambra state Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo was able to retain his seat as the helmsman of the state due to his performance which earned him automatic second term seat as Governor of the state.
Ikegwuonu a native of Oraifite said that Governor has touched every sector in Anambra state noting that his performance positioned him above his contenders such as Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and others before the electorate who voted massively for him.
Recalled that Prof Soludo warn the recently concluded Anambra state Gubernatorial election by winning all the twenty one local government area thus making the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare him as winners.
With this development, Ikegwuonu noted that he saw this coming in view of the antecedent of Governor Soludo whom he termed Mr workaholic whose impact has permeated the entire Anambra state.
“ Governor Soludo has tarred roads in Anambra state as he is the only one who has linked the states towns with one another just like Peter Obi did as Governor during his time “ he explained.
“ There is a particular road which I would like to mention, the Awka to Ekulobia road to Oraifite and then to Okija which were not motorable which has been dualized by Governor Soludo” Ikegwuonu revealed.
“ He even touched education sector because all the government schools are free as pupils and students attend without paying any school fees besides the state providing uniforms and some textbooks free to them” he added.
The Christian Fellowship Vice President said further that Governor Soludo also ensured that there are hospitals in every part of Anambra town with treatment and drug free for the indigenes and residents of the states.
