The Management and Editorial Board of Oodua News Newspaper, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, (Arusa I), on the occasion of his 82nd birthday and the first anniversary of his coronation as the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a congratulatory message signed by the editor of the newspaper organization, Comrade Richard Thomas, described the highly revered monarch as a royal father of impeccable records of achievement.
“We celebrate His Imperial Majesty, Kabiyesi, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa 1) on the occasion of his 82nd birthday and for attaining this remarkable milestone and for his life of service, leadership, wisdom and dedication to the development, unity and cultural heritage of Ibadanland.
“The first anniversary of his coronation provides another opportunity for the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State and well-wishers across Nigeria to appreciate the historical significance of the Olubadan institution and the responsibilities attached to the revered traditional stool.
