Nigeria @ 66 : Ayoade Felicitates Residents, Sues for Unity, Rededication To Nation-Building

The Political Head/Administrator of Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Akeem Adewale Ayoade, has felicitated residents of the Council Area and Nigerians at large on the auspicious occasion of the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

In his Independence day message, Hon. Ayoade described the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s journey, appreciate the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers, and rededicate to building a peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria.

He called on residents of the LCDA to continue to promote peace, tolerance, responsible citizenship and cooperation, stressing that sustainable development requires the collective contribution of government and citizens.

The Council boss reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to responsive grassroots governance and initiatives that improve the welfare and living conditions of residents, while urging everyone to remain hopeful and contribute positively to the development of their communities.

While expressing his appreciation to the people of the Council area for their support and cooperation, he assured them that their interests and welfare would continue to be priotized

He then prayed for peace, progress and prosperity across the Country, charging all to remain united in diversity, hopeful about our future and committed to making our communities and our nation better for present and future generations.

Recall Nigeria got independence on October 1, 1960, and the date has remained a significant milestone in the country’s national history.
