
Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of three new members to the Oyo State Advisory Council, chaired by legal luminary Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN.
The newly appointed members are Engr. Abu Salami, Hon. Ezekiel Oyedepo, and Hon. (Mrs.) Lydia Bankole.
In addition, according to appointment letters issued by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, PhD, Hon. Adekunle Oladapo Bankole has been named Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board.
Similarly, three officials have been reassigned to new roles.
• Mrs. Adeboyin Elizabeth Oladokun, formerly a member of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, is now the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Diaspora Matters.
• Abiodun Oluwaseun Friday, previously Senior Special Assistant on Project Delivery, has been appointed Chairman of the Oyo State Project Performance Monitoring Agency, replacing Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement.
• Ajao Ibrahim Akinsanmi, who formerly served on the Board of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), has been appointed a member of the Oyo State Housing Corporation.
All appointments take effect from Friday, September 18, 2026.
Governor Makinde congratulated the appointees and urged them to discharge their duties with loyalty, commitment, and dedication to the service of Oyo State.
