France-based business mogul and APC chieftain, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge, has applauded the appointment of distinguished party members into the Ekiti State APC Presidential Campaign Council, saying the appointments reflect recognition of capacity, commitment and contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress.

In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti by his Media Aide, Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, Alonge described the appointments as a recognition of the commitment, loyalty and capacity of the appointees to the growth and success of the All Progressives Congress.

He urged the newly appointed committee members to justify the confidence reposed in them by working diligently, maintaining unity and mobilising support for the party at the grassroots.

Alonge particularly called on Nigerian and Ekiti youths to rally behind the committee members and actively participate in the political process, stressing that the future of Nigeria depends largely on the active involvement of young people in leadership and nation-building.

He urged the youths to embrace peaceful political participation, support credible leadership, and contribute their energy, ideas and talents towards the continued progress and development of Ekiti State and Nigeria.

“I congratulate all the committee members on this well-deserved responsibility. I urge our youths to rally behind them, work with them and remain actively involved in the political process. Together, we can build a stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.

The France-based business mogul also urged the leadership of the APC to consider bringing more strategic technocrats, professionals and experienced Nigerians in the Diaspora into the Presidential Campaign Council, noting that their expertise, global networks and wealth of experience could add significant value to the party’s campaign strategy and contribute to its success at the polls.

According to him, greater inclusion of Nigerians in the Diaspora would provide an opportunity to harness their professional expertise, international exposure and connections for the benefit of the party and the country.

“The APC should continue to expand its tent by bringing on board more strategic technocrats and professionals, particularly Nigerians in the Diaspora who have distinguished themselves in their various fields. Their wealth of experience and international exposure can bring additional strength, influence and professionalism to the Presidential Campaign Council,” Alonge added.

The APC chieftain wished the committee members success in their new assignment and expressed confidence that their collective experience, commitment and dedication would contribute significantly to the party’s success.
