The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, has intensified his grassroots campaign with a visit to Ibadan Southwest Local Government Area, where he donated ₦2 million to the party.
Fagbemi, during the campaign engagement, expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders and members for their continued support and commitment to the APM, promising to pursue effective representation and grassroots development if elected.
He said the donation was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and supporting its activities ahead of the 2027 general election.
The APM candidate urged party members to remain united and committed, stressing that the collective strength of the party would be crucial to its success at the polls.
Fagbemi also used the occasion to interact with party members and stakeholders, listen to their concerns and discuss issues affecting the constituency.
He assured the people of Ibadan Northwest and Ibadan Southwest of his commitment to inclusive representation and programmes that would promote development across the federal constituency.
He said his campaign would continue to prioritize engagement with the grassroots, noting that meaningful representation requires constant interaction with the people.
Fagbemi was accompanied by prominent APM leaders, including the party’s Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke; former representative of the Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon. Saheed Fijabi; Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alhaji Rahmon Adepoju; Chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande; Chairman of Okebadan LCDA and APM chairmanship candidate for Ibadan Northwest, Hon. Ganiyu Omotosho; Hon. Bolanle Oladeji and Hon. Hassan Bello, among other party leaders and stakeholders.
Speaking during the engagement, Fagbemi thanked the party’s leadership and members for their unwavering support, saying their dedication had strengthened the APM’s grassroots structures in the constituency.
He reiterated his determination to work closely with party leaders, stakeholders and members to achieve victory for the APM in the 2027 general election.
He further called for unity, cooperation and sustained grassroots mobilisation, stressing that the party’s success would depend largely on the collective efforts of its members.
The campaign visit provided an opportunity for the APM candidate to further deepen his relationship with party members and consolidate support ahead of the 2027 election.
