According to him, the Eid-el-Kabir celebration should serve as a moment of reflection, prayers and compassion towards the less privileged in society.

“I congratulate Muslims in Oyo State and across the country for the grace granted by Almighty Allah to witness and celebrate the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir in peace,” he said.

“I also want to urge Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to use the occasion to seek the face of God concerning the diverse challenges facing our dear nation.

“Let us use the occasion to intercede for the nation and remember to extend hands of fellowship to the poor and those facing one challenge or another.”

Aare (Dr) Adewale also prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde and other leaders across the country, asking God to grant them wisdom and strength to lead the nation towards peace, unity and development.

He expressed optimism that with collective commitment to peace and progress, Nigeria would regain its pride of place among nations.
