The immediate past Bursar for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, Dr. Sarafa Agbogun has described the Chairman, Governing Council of the institution who is also the Executive Director, Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI, Prof. Lateef Sanni as a dynamic and visionary leader who has been utilizing his wealth of experience in administering the OYSCATECH Governing Council effectively.
Dr Agbogun who gave the commendation during paid a courtesy visit to Prof.Lateef Sanni in his office on Monday also commended him for acceding to the regular promotion of staff and staff welfarism.
He joined other well-wishers to rejoice with Prof. Sanni who ranked top in the recently released World Scientific Ranking as the best Professor at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) and ranked among the top three percent scientists, and 47th in Nigerian Universities.
The OYSCATECH former Bursar also joined friends and family to celebrate the one year coronation anniversary of Prof. Lateef Sanni as Mogaji (family Head) of Olukunle Compound.
According to Agbogun , “apart from your achievements in the academia, your leadership qualities, contributions to the education sector, body of knowledge, research activities and commitment to the development of mankind and people around you are worth celebrating.”
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and protection for the OYSCATECH Governing Council Chairman.
In his response, Prof. Sanni appreciated Dr. Agbogun for his expertise in financial and administrative matters, while also commending him for his academic advancement.
He pledged his commitment to excellent leadership and service to humanity.
