The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) Worldwide has concluded its 61st Annual Trustees Meeting and Thanksgiving Service with a renewed call for commitment to the gospel, unity, and community development.
According to the Church’s official news platform, “The Apostolic Herald”, the three-day gathering held from Thursday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, 2026, at UACC Oke Igbala Headquarters Church, Uro, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State, brought together church leaders, trustees, ordained ministers, deacons, and delegates from across Nigeria and beyond.

Presiding over the meeting was the President and General Overseer of UACC Worldwide, Rev. Dr. James B. Owoyemi, whose leadership continues to drive the mission’s evangelistic and developmental vision both in Nigeria and abroad. He was joined by senior ministers and ordained servants of God from various states and regions, reflecting the broad spread of the mission.

Delivering the keynote sermon, titled “Signs and Wonders Are For Those Who Refuse To Quit” ,the UACC President, Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi,
explained that signs and wonders are for those that are patient with the Lord to receive from him even when they are facing challenges and delay.
Taking his text from Psalm 77:14-20, the clergyman noted that God often manifests His power in moments of delay, difficulty, and uncertainty.

He urged delegates and members to remain steadfast in prayer, faith, and holiness, stressing that quitting during trials closes the door to divine intervention.
He described the 61st edition as a divine turning point for UACC as it enters the second half-century of ministry, charging trustees and ministers to lead with apostolic conviction and endurance.

Earlier, while welcoming the President, trustees, delegate, ministers and guests , the Ekiti State Superintendent of UACC, Rev. Peter A. Adeniyi, expressed gratitude to God for the privilege of hosting the annual gathering in the state and pledged the full support and hospitality of the state’s congregation. He prayed for a successful and impactful meeting.
The programme blended worship services, fervent intercessory prayers, inspiring sermons, strategic administrative deliberations by the Board of Trustees, and fellowship sessions. The Thanksgiving Service formed the spiritual highpoint as the church reflected on God’s faithfulness in preserving, growing, and distinguishing the mission over six decades.

According to the church, the annual trustees meeting serves as both a strategic and spiritual compass for UACC. It provided opportunity for leadership to review progress, plan for expansion, strengthen governance structures, and align with the vision God has placed on the mission. This 61st edition was described as particularly significant as the church charts a course for deeper impact in its second half-century of ministry.

The meeting concluded with thanksgiving, renewed commitment by leadership and members, and a collective declaration of trust in God who has carried UACC from its founding days to this golden era of ministry. Delegates departed Oke Igbala with what the church described as “the fire of revival, the bond of fellowship, and the assurance of God’s continued grace upon the mission.”
UACC Worldwide reaffirmed its commitment to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ and promote unity, peace, and Christian values across the world.
