Prince Kunle Musediq Adelakun Eruobodo, a governorship hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement made available to journalists on Friday, Adelakun, popularly known as Eruobodo, congratulated Muslims across Oyo State and Nigeria for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, which he described as a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to faith and humanity.
The APC chieftain urged the Muslim Ummah to sustain the virtues of patience, discipline, compassion, and generosity imbibed during Ramadan, noting that these values are essential for fostering peace, unity, and development in society.
Adelakun emphasized the need for continued prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria at large. He also called on citizens, irrespective of religious or political affiliations, to work together in promoting harmony and collective growth.
“Eid al-Fitr is a time of joy, gratitude, and renewed hope. I encourage all Muslim faithful to celebrate in moderation and extend love to the less privileged, in line with the teachings of Islam,” he stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to the development of Oyo State, Adelakun assured residents of his dedication to inclusive governance, if given the mandate, promising policies that would enhance socio-economic growth and improve the standard of living for all.
He also assured that his administration will center on People Oriented Development (POD), such that will place the people at the center of governance and collective development.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration
