Ashiyanbi Bows out of Active Service as OYSCATECH, SPED, Political Associates, Clerics Friends Extol his Virtues

Dr. Haadi Ashiyanbi, the Bursar Federal College of Education, Special, Oyo and Pioneer Bursar for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora has retired from active service.

Commemorating his retirement and 65th Birthday, special prayers were organized to appreciate the Almighty Allah on his behalf as the Pioneer Staff of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Principal Officers of Federal College of Education, Special, Staff, Political Associates, friends and well-wishers converged at his residence to celebrate and extol his virtues.

Some of the dignitaries at the event included; both Christian and Islamic clerics, which include; Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu, ArchBishop Emeritus of Methodist Church Nigeria, Ustaz Mikail Bolaji, Missioner Ansar -un- Deen, Oyo and Ustaz Dikhiru Yahaya. 

Others are Senator Yunus Akintunde, the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Lanre Nasir, the Governing Council Chairman for the Polytechnic, Ibadan, Dr. Suleiman Adediran, Former SUBEB Chairman, Dr. Ademola Abdulrauf Salaam, the Provost Federal College of Education Special, Dr. Joseph Araoye, Registrar, Dr. Serifat Asiru, Librarian, Emmanuel Alayande College of Education and pioneer Librarian, OYSCATECH, Igboora,  Engr. Hamad Kehinde, the Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. Babatunde Afeez, Senior Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of OYSCATECH among others.

The Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi described Dr. Ashiyanbi as one of the heroes who joined others in laying good foundation for OYSCATECH Igboora. 

Dr. Ashiyanbi was described as humane, impactful and visionary leader who touched several lives positively.

Dr. Ashiyanbi was the pioneer Bursar, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora 2007-2014, Pioneer accountant, Trans Wonderland, 1989-1992. He had a brief stay at St Andrews College, now Emmanuel Alayande 1985-1989.

He joined the services of Federal College of Education special in 1993 and rose to the position of a Bursar in 2015 until his retirement in November 11, 2025.

Dr. Ashiyanbi was the Chairman, Oyo West Local Government between June 2002-2003.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria and Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management
