The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, on the elevation of 34 Baales in Ibadan less city to Obaship status.
Dr. Adewale in a statement, described the exercise as a welcome development adding that it will further promote the cultural and traditional values of chieftaincy settings in Ibadan and the state as a whole.
Dr. Adewale, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Ibadan said the development will also aid and foester rapid development in the rural settings, just as he appealed to the newly elevated Baales to be good ambassadors of the Olubadan and people of the areas in their respective domains.,
Said he, “I rejoice and congratulate His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba (Dr) Senator Lekan Balogun, and the Executive Governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the peaceful and successful elevation of Baales to Obaship status in Ibadanland.
“The exercise is a welcome development and I hope it will foester and aid rapid development at the grassroots levels. I also congratulate the newly elevated Baales for the grace to witness such a historic occasion which has placed them on a higher levels in their domain. I pray God Almighty will see you through and bless you with more strength and wisdom to achieve excellence in office.”
The Aare Musulumi, while praying for peace and development of Ibadan land and the state in particular recalled that the reign of the Monarch in the last one year has recorded tremendous success.
According to him, the peacful atmosphere witnessed in the state under the reign of the Olubadan is unprecedented and has encouraged business to thrive
