The legislator who canvassed  support for the governor described the prompt distribution of the  palliatives as a measure which would go a long in addressing the hardship facing the masses occasioned by the removal of petrol subsidy by President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking with newsmen on Thursday in Ibadan, Hon Babajide  said the development will  bring good governance to the people, adding that the strides will no doubt cushion  the effects of subsidy removal in the state.

The legislator said: ‘’The governor flagged off the distribution of palliatives in Oyo Town, and you can see that he is a people-oriented governor. The love of his people and their welfare is paramount to the governor.

‘’Beyond a shadow of doubt, I am bold to say that the governor has done well. We all see what is going on across the nook and cranny of the state. Everyone can see what the governor is doing’’.

The parliamentarian who expressed confidence in the leadership of governor Makinde urged the people of the state to give unflinching  support to the governor, adding that he has a lot for them in the pipeline”.

He said: ‘’ I am seeking the support of all and sundry for the governor. I will also appeal to the masses to bear with us and accept what the governor is offering.  The second term is just starting. Let’s give him some time and very soon things will get better’’.
