The Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, ( Muslim Wing), Sheikh Hashim Olamide Atere has urged the people of the state to continue to cooperate and support the administration of the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, (FNSE) in his quest to move the state to greater heights.
Sheikh Atere gave the urge while recieving an Award of Best
Hajj Performing Governor (South), 2024 on behalf of state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde at Auditorium Hall, National Mosque abuja.
According to him, Governor Seyi Makinde administration has contributed immensely to the development of islam, hence the award to acknowledge and honour his contributions to Islam.
“It’s a great honor and privilege for me to represent and receive an Award of Best Hajj Performing Governor (South) 2024 on behalf of the Peoples Governor, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde (FNSE), the Executive Governor of Oyo State at Abuja today.
“The award no doubt is a testament to the commitment of the governor to the development of Islam in the state and beyond. We pray Almighty Allah to continue to strengthen and guide our governor in the right direction to enable to Oyo State to the next level.”
Sheikh Atere who expressed joy and excitement on the development urged Muslim faithfuls in the state to continue to support the governor in prayers and supplications.
