The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has inaugurated Local Government Campaign Managers for the BSA/Adedeji Campaign Organisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Alli, while inaugurating the campaign managers at the APC Campaign Office, Dandaru, Mokola area of Ibadan, charged them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and strengthen the party’s structures across the state.
The APC candidate declared that the party was strategically positioned to contest and seek victory in the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections in Oyo State in 2027.
He, however, stressed that achieving the party’s electoral objectives would require sustained engagement with the people and effective mobilisation at the grassroots.
“We are strategically positioned to win the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections in Oyo State in 2027.
“But victory requires hard work at the grassroots. We must go to the people, engage them and strengthen our structures across the state,” Alli said.
The governorship candidate described the appointments of the campaign managers as a call to service, urging them to remain committed, focused and united in discharging their responsibilities.
He emphasised the importance of unity and teamwork among APC leaders and members, saying effective coordination and collective efforts would be critical to strengthening the party ahead of the elections.
According to him, the campaign should not be centred on individuals but on building a stronger and more cohesive APC in Oyo State.
“This is not about individuals. It is about the party and our collective responsibility to build a stronger APC in Oyo State,” he said.
Earlier, the Director-General of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO), Prince Yemi Aderibigbe, described the inauguration as another significant step in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Aderibigbe expressed confidence in the organisational capacity of the party and urged the newly inaugurated campaign managers and other members to work collectively towards consolidating the APC’s structures across the state.
He charged them to ensure effective mobilisation and coordination within their respective local government areas as the party intensifies its preparations for the election.
