

The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, the Oyo Stay Capital, Chief (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale, has called on Nigerians to take proactive steps toward strengthening the nation’s democracy by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Adewale made this appeal during his birthday celebration in Ibadan which was attended by members of his organization and well-wishers who gathered to honor his contributions to community development and leadership.
Addressing guests at the event, the respected community leader emphasized the importance of civic responsibility, noting that the possession of a PVC is a fundamental requirement for participating in the electoral process. He urged eligible citizens, particularly residents of Oyo State, not to wait until the last minute but to ensure they are duly registered to vote.
According to him, active participation in elections remains one of the most effective ways for citizens to shape governance and ensure that credible leaders emerge. He stressed that voting empowers the electorate to choose candidates who align with their aspirations for development and good governance.
Dr. Adewale also used the occasion to call for continued prayers for Nigeria, highlighting the need for unity, peace, and progress in the face of ongoing national challenges. He encouraged citizens to remain hopeful and committed to the collective growth of the country.
In addition to his role as a community leader, Dr. Adewale is the Chairman of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, a position through which he has contributed to economic activity and job creation within his community and the the state by extension.
Reflecting on his personal milestone, he expressed profound gratitude to God for granting him another year of life. He also extended appreciation to members of his organization for their loyalty, dedication, and steadfast support over the years, noting that their contributions have been instrumental to the growth and success of the company.
