The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation and France-based business mogul, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), has celebrated teachers across Ekiti State on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day 2026.

In a goodwill message released through his media aide, Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, and made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Alonge commended teachers across the state for their dedication and contributions to the development of education and society.

The Ikere-Ekiti-born philanthropist also praised the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji (BAO) for initiatives aimed at employing teachers and ensuring the regular payment of their salaries, describing these measures as important to staff welfare, motivation, and the effective delivery of quality education.

Alonge urged teachers to remain committed to their responsibility of shaping the future of Ekiti State’s children, while calling for sustained support and investment in the teaching profession.

As part of his continued commitment to initiatives that promote community development and improve the educational prospects of children in Ekiti State, Harrison Alonge announced the payment of tuition fees for more than 50 students across secondary and tertiary institutions in the state.

He noted that supporting students’ education remains an important part of his commitment to giving young people the opportunity to pursue their academic aspirations and contribute meaningfully to the development of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.

Alonge therefore called on well-meaning individuals across Ekiti State, both at home and in the diaspora, to invest collectively in the education of children in the state, noting that Ekiti is widely known as the “Fountain of Knowledge.”

He reaffirmed that his foundation would continue to support vulnerable members of society, particularly indigent students across Ekiti State, as part of its commitment to promoting education and improving the welfare of people in need.
