The United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) Worldwide has concluded the 15th edition of its Blessed Youth Organisation (BYO) Annual Youth Conference with the inauguration of a new executive team and the restructuring of the youth ministry to deepen unity and growth.
The four-day conference, themed “Empowered for Signs and Wonders,” was commenced on Thursday, July 30 and ended on Sunday ,August 2 , 2026 at Mount Zion, Ologuneru, Ibadan, Oyo State with a thanksgiving service attended by members from across Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Delivering the thanksgiving sermon titled “Are You Qualified for Empowerment?” the President of UACC Worldwide, Rev. James Bayo Owoyemi, urged youths and Nigerians at large to strengthen their relationship with God
Taking his text from Ecclesiastes 2:26, he said divine empowerment is reserved for those who live in obedience to God’s will and charged young people to be vessels for signs, wonders and national transformation.
In a bid to promote unity, healthy competition and development, Rev. Owoyemi announced the restructuring of the BYO into four groups named after the early founders of the church: Oluwatuase, Fayehun, Adetisola and Owoju.
The thanksgiving service also marked the beginning of a new leadership era as the newly elected BYO executives, led by Pastor Michael Adu, were inaugurated by the church president.
He charged them to provide purposeful, visionary and God-centred leadership that will advance the youth ministry and the church at large.
The conference featured revival services, Bible teachings, seminars and entrepreneurship lectures aimed at equipping participants with biblical principles and practical skills for personal growth, service and nation-building.
One of the major highlights of the conference was the inter-group football tournament where Team Oluwatuase emerged champions and received the trophy during the thanksgiving service in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The event drew members of the Board of Trustees, the Supreme Council, ministers of God and worshippers from Oyo, Lagos, Ekiti, Osun and Rivers States, as well as representatives from the United Kingdom.
