IBADAN — The Secretariat of the Oyo State Emerging Political Leaders Summit 2026 has announced the opening of its registration portal for prospective participants ahead of the two-day summit scheduled to hold on August 24 and 25, 2026, at the Ibadan Civic Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The summit is expected to bring together emerging political leaders, young professionals, political stakeholders and other strategic participants from across the state to deliberate on issues surrounding political engagement, leadership development and constructive dialogue ahead of the 2027 political season.
According to the organisers, the summit is being convened as a platform to promote unity, inclusion, responsible leadership, youth participation and effective political mobilisation in Oyo State.
The organisers said participants would have opportunities to engage in meaningful discussions, network with other stakeholders, explore areas of collaboration and contribute ideas on the future political and developmental direction of the state.
In a statement issued by the Secretariat, interested participants were urged to register through the official summit website, www.oyoeplsummit.ng, or via the designated online registration form.
The Secretariat also announced that registration would close on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, urging prospective participants to complete the process before the deadline and ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete.
It added that further information regarding participation, confirmation and other arrangements for the summit would be communicated to registered participants in due course.
The summit, coming ahead of the 2027 political season, is expected to provide a platform for emerging leaders and other stakeholders to exchange perspectives and strengthen political participation across Oyo State.
