Pride and joy have filled Ikere Kingdom and Ekiti State following the successful completion of Phase 1 of Metro Line 17 in Paris, France, with an Ikere-Ekiti-born businessman and lawyer, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge, listed among the key professionals behind the milestone project.

that delivered new rail line which connects Northern Paris to Charles de Gaulle International Airport in France
In a congratulatory message, the Harrison Alonge Media Team hailed the achievement, describing it as a reflection of dedication, teamwork, professionalism and perseverance.
“Tears of joy and immense pride as Phase 1 of Metro Line 17, connecting Northern Paris to Charles de Gaulle International Airport, has been successfully completed,” the statement said.
“This remarkable achievement reflects dedication, teamwork, professionalism and perseverance. Heartfelt congratulations to the 3,000 workers whose commitment and sacrifices made this milestone possible.”
The team specifically celebrated their own, describing Alonge as “our own Omoluabi Ikere Kingdom, the pride of Ekiti State.”

Metro Line 17 is part of the larger Grand Paris Express project aimed at modernizing public transportation in the French capital and improving connectivity to one of Europe’s busiest airports.
The recognition of Harrison Alonge has been described by community leaders and indigenes back home as further proof that Ekiti sons and daughters are making waves globally through hard work and expertise.
