Tributes have continued to pour in for the former General Overseer of New Life for All Nations Ministries Worldwide, Pastor Ezekiel Adeniyi Adeoye, who passed on at the age of 77.
The General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Joseph Oduwaye, described the late cleric as a “courageous General” in the Lord’s army who fought a good battle before laying down his sword at the feet of the Lord.

Pastor Oduwaye, in his tribute, said Baba Adeoye was a prolific preacher of the word and a committed servant of God who dedicated over 50 years of his life to the service of God and humanity.
Family members and members of the Church also paid glowing tributes to the late man of God, describing him as a giant soldier in the Lord’s vineyard who fought gallantly to win many souls for Christ despite daunting challenges in the journey of faith.
According to his ministerial journey, Pastor Adeoye joined All Nations Disciple of Christ, now New Life for All Nations Ministries, in 1972. He was a regular attendee at crusades organized by Rev. J.K. Solomon at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, owing to his closeness to the stadium.
Driven by passion for lost souls, he joined the workers during the 1972 crusade, an exercise which brought many souls to Christ.
He began full pastoral work in 1974 and became one of the associate ministers to Rev. J.K. Solomon. As an evangelist, he ministered at several crusades, conferences and seminars within and outside Nigeria.
He later became President/General Overseer of the Church in 2013 and voluntarily retired in 2018.
The late cleric pioneered several churches in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
He passed on on March 20, 2026 and was buried on August 22, 2026 at his residence opposite the Church’s National Campground, Oloola, New Felele, Ibadan.
The burial service was attended by Church members and acquaintances from South Africa, Togo, Benin Republic and other parts of the world.
