The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Ikere Local Government Chapter, has presented an Award of Honour to the Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation (HAF), Harrison Olaniyi Alonge in recognition of his invaluable contributions and unwavering support towards the success of the Annual Odun Oba Youth Colloquium 2026.
Presenting the award,a University Don,Professor Dayo Daramola, accompanied the patron of NYC and chairman of the event,Mr Ayo Ajogbeje,while the Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Ikere Local Government Chapter, Comrade O.S. Adeleke, described Harrison Olaniyi Alonge as an institutional leader per excellence whose commitment to youth development, humanitarian service, and community development continues to inspire hope and confidence among the younger generation.
According to Comrade Adeleke, Harrison Alonge has distinguished himself through numerous empowerment programmes that have positively impacted the lives of youths, women, and vulnerable members of society across Ekiti State. He also commended HOA’s remarkable humanitarian intervention in facilitating the rescue of four Nigerian stowaways who were reportedly thrown into the Atlantic Ocean by a foreign vessel through the efforts of his logistics firm.
Receiving the award on behalf of Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), a member of the Harrison Alonge Media Team, Mr. Abere Ola, popularly known as Gaston, expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and entire members of the Nigerian Youth Congress, Ikere Local Government Chapter, for the honour bestowed on Harrison Alonge.
He described Harrison Alonge as a compassionate and God-given philanthropist who gives selflessly without discrimination, touching lives across communities through his humanitarian interventions. He noted that the award would further motivate HOA to remain steadfast in his commitment to uplifting the less privileged and supporting initiatives that promote youth development and community advancement.
The Youth Congress further acknowledged Harrison Alonge’s consistent financial support for indigent citizens, educational assistance for students, and various philanthropic initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the less privileged.
“Your generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to humanity have made you a beacon of hope and an inspiration to countless young people. Your selfless service continues to demonstrate that true leadership is measured by the positive impact made on the lives of others,” Comrade Adeleke stated.
The Congress expressed profound appreciation to the France-based businessman and philanthropist for his continued investment in human capital development and community service, praying that God grants him greater strength, wisdom, sound health, and abundant resources to sustain his noble mission of transforming lives and empowering future generations.
