

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ekiti East Constituency II in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Barr. Tajudeen Olutope Ahmed, has publicly commended former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Biodun Olujimi for her exemplary leadership, political maturity, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ekiti State.

In a letter of commendation addressed to the former senator and made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti on at the weekend , Barr. Ahmed described Senator Olujimi as “a distinguished political leader whose contributions to democratic governance, legislative excellence, and the advancement of women in politics remain a benchmark for aspiring public office holders.”
According to him, Senator Olujimi’s political journey has remained a source of inspiration to many aspiring leaders across party lines, citing her courage, resilience, and dedication to the service of the people.
Barrister Ahmed particularly applauded the former senator’s conduct following the recent APC senatorial primary election, noting that despite the outcome, she remained steadfast in her commitment to the party and continued to mobilise support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO.
He described her actions as a demonstration of uncommon statesmanship, loyalty, and commitment to the collective interest of the party above personal ambition.
“Your continued support for the APC and your visible commitment to the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji have further strengthened the unity and stability of our great party. Such exemplary conduct deserves recognition and commendation,” he stated.
The APC Assembly candidate further expressed admiration for Senator Olujimi’s wealth of political experience and leadership insight, describing her as a role model whose career offers valuable lessons in resilience, service, and democratic leadership.
The incoming Ekiti State House of Assembly member,Barrister Ahmed also used the opportunity to seek the mentorship and guidance of the former senator, expressing confidence that her experience, wisdom, and political acumen would be invaluable in shaping his public service journey and enhancing his capacity to serve the people effectively.
While noting that they represent different state constituencies, he emphasised that they share a common commitment to the development of Ekiti East Local Government and the overall progress of Ekiti State.
