The strategic gathering is aimed at further strengthening grassroots support for the BAO/MCA re-election bid ahead of the forthcoming governorship election. The event is expected to bring together representatives from the six local government areas in Ekiti South, including political leaders, market women associations, youth organisations, artisans, and community development groups.

Speaking with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti ahead of the mobilisation programme, Senator Olujimi reiterated the importance of sustained support for Governor Oyebanji, citing his administration’s achievements in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and social welfare across the state.

According to her, the continuity of the current administration is essential to consolidating the gains already recorded and ensuring that ongoing developmental projects across the state are completed for the benefit of the people.

Also lending her voice to the campaign, Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye emphasised the need for women and youths to remain actively involved in the democratic process by supporting a government that has demonstrated commitment to inclusive governance, economic growth, and sustainable development.

She noted that the administration of Governor Oyebanji has continued to prioritise the welfare of the people through people-centred policies and programmes, urging residents of Ekiti South and the state at large to come out en masse to support the BAO/MCA ticket.

Reacting to the growing momentum of the campaign, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Olaniyi Foundation, commended Senator Olujimi and Deputy Governor Afuye for their grassroots mobilisation efforts. He described the initiative as a reflection of the widespread acceptance and support Governor Oyebanji enjoys across Ekiti State.

Alonge urged the people of Ikere-Ekiti and the entire Ekiti South Senatorial District to continue supporting the BAO/MCA ticket, stressing that the administration has delivered tangible dividends of democracy and laid a solid foundation for sustainable development across the state.

According to him, the forthcoming election presents an opportunity for Ekiti people to consolidate on the achievements already recorded by the Oyebanji administration and ensure continuity in governance, peace, and development.

The event in Ikere-Ekiti is expected to serve as a major rallying point for supporters across the senatorial district, reinforcing the growing momentum behind the BAO/MCA re-election campaign and showcasing the broad-based support the administration continues to enjoy among various segments of the population.

The mobilisation drive forms part of a series of engagements being spearheaded by Senator Olujimi and other members of the BAO/MCA National Campaign Council to galvanise support and ensure a resounding victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji and Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye at the polls.
