According to him, the spirit of sacrifice, obedience and devotion which the festival symbolizes should inspire Nigerians to deepen their commitment to peace, mutual understanding and national unity irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.

Kadri emphasized that the nation is presently facing enormous socio-economic and security challenges, noting that citizens must rise above divisions and work collectively toward building a stronger and more prosperous country.

He urged Muslims to use the sacred period of Eid-el-Kabir to seek divine intervention for the country, particularly in the areas of economic recovery and security, which he described as pressing concerns affecting the daily lives of Nigerians.

The community leader and public figure noted that prayer remains a powerful instrument capable of bringing positive transformation and healing to the nation.

“Eid-el-Kabir is not only a season of celebration but also a period for sober reflection, sacrifice and fervent prayers for our nation. Nigerians should continue to seek the face of God concerning the economic and security challenges confronting the country,” he stated.

Chief Adeshina Kadri, who was recently appointed as Director of Business Community by the Oyo State chapter of the City Boy Movement, stressed that the time had come for Nigerians to set aside religious, political and ethnic differences in pursuit of a common national objective.

He maintained that genuine unity and patriotism remain indispensable in strengthening the nation and restoring hope among citizens.

According to him, no meaningful development can be achieved in an atmosphere of division and mistrust, adding that sustainable progress requires collective responsibility and shared commitment among all stakeholders.

Kadri further appealed to political leaders, religious bodies and community stakeholders to continue promoting tolerance, dialogue and understanding among Nigerians, particularly at a time when the country requires greater solidarity and purposeful leadership.

He said the values of compassion, generosity and sacrifice associated with Eid-el-Kabir should serve as guiding principles in interpersonal relationships and governance.

The Oyo-based philantropist and community leader also encouraged Muslims to extend acts of kindness to the less privileged during the celebration, reminding them that the essence of the festival goes beyond merriment and includes caring for vulnerable members of society.

While congratulating Muslim faithful on the successful observance of the festival, Chief Adeshina Kadri prayed for peace, progress and renewed prosperity across Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

He reaffirmed his belief that with unity, prayer and collective determination, Nigeria can overcome its present challenges and achieve sustainable growth and national development.
