Amid rising hardship, insecurity, and hunger driven by the high cost of essential goods, the Shepherd-in-Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Kingdom Parish, Ogbere ti o ya, Ibadan, Rev’d Dr. Robert A. Ademiluyi JP, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to introduce relief packages that will ease the impact of current government policies on Nigerians
The cleric who stated this during the week, emphasized that Nigerians need immediate, sorrow-free support to cushion the effects of inflation and policy changes affecting food, transport, and basic commodities.
Rev’d Ademiluyi called for concerted prayers in order to salvage the nation from doom
“I even pity some of our leaders because despite their efforts to put Nigeria at Paris in the global communities, things are getting worse by the day. Many Nigerians are groaning loudly,” he said emphatically.
He said that he was intentional about the progress and survival about the project called Nigerians and if we will smile again, government must re-adjust some of its harsh economic policies. “Many of our leaders only think of how to win the next election and not on how to make the people comfortable,” he added.
“According to my observation many of our leaders are at crossroads now, over the current situation in the country. I can assure the president that I and other Christians, in the country will continue to pray for the president that God should give him the wisdom to return the country to the right path of peace and love”, he said
Speaking on the church spiritual activities, Ademiluyi said the church would hold its annual cantata on Sunday, May 17 in the church.
Also celestial church worldwide will equally hold children annual harvest and thanksgiving service simultaneously worldwide on Sunday May 17, 2026.
