Olubadan Coronation: Aare Latosa LCDA Congratulates Oba Olakulehin

The Political Head Administrator of Aare Latosa LCDA, Hon Ayoade Akeem Adewale has celebrated the ascension of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin unto the throne of his forebears as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Ayoade, while paying homage to the newly installed Olubadan, he stressed that Oba Olakuleyin had paid his dues to ascend the throne of his forefathers as he has contributed immensely to the traditional institution.

According to the LCDA boss, “Oba Olakuleyin who was presented with staff and other paraphernalias of office and thus crowned by His Excellency, Gova Seyi Makinde in an elaborate, historic and monumental event, has chaired traditional councils at different times and different local governments and has written his name in gold in the history of traditional institution in Ibadanland

“As part of his support and contribution to the traditional council, Oba Olakuleyin has erected 2 different befitting structures within Ibadan North LG and Ibadan North East LG for the Council assembly and meetings, no wonder he is also making history as the first Olubadan to use the newly constructed magnificent edifice of the Olubadan palace seated on Oke Aremo” he stated.

Ayoade further eulogized His Excellency, Gov Seyi Makinde for his love and commitment to the development of Ibadanland and the traditional institution adding that His Excellency s approval of the nomination of Oba Olakuleyin as the new Olubadan is an evidence

He also noted that His Excellency has listening ears and always ensure protection of people’s right and interest in all facets of life

He then prayed for good health, longer life and peaceful co-existence during the reign of the new Olubadan

Recall, the emergency and nomination of Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland was as a result of the passing of the immediate past Olubadan, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun who left a vacuum to be filled

Ayoade therefore rejoiced with all sons and daughters of Ibadanland for this great feat and enjoined all to bring development to Ibadanland by investing in the State
