The Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing), Sheikh AbdulWahab Hashim Atere has again assured the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, Chief (Dr) AbdulRahman Adeyinka Adewale of high collaboration and robust synergy that would advance the course of the board and the agency.
Sheikh Atere gave the assurance during the courtesy visit of Dr. Adewale to the Board office, Bashorun, Ibadan.
According to him, Dr Adewale has proved his mettle as a frontline travel agency with professional and technical know how in the industry.
The Board Chairman while extolling the virtues and high operational standard of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, described the Chief Executive Officer of the agency who is popular Known as Dr. Raymond Adewale as one of the few best experts who have carved a niche for his agency in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
“We are very happy to have you in our midst today, to identify with your laudable and intimidating success in the travel and tour industry.
“I am not too surprised with your land mark achievements, because I have heard good reports about Aryfad travels, your humane, standard and warm receptions before now. Also, I have heard much about your transparent, modest and classic operations which set you apart as one of the few experts in the country.
“As you can see, members of the Welfare Board are happy to receive and identity with you, and we are ready to establish a robust collaboration and working relationship with Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, such that will enhance high productivity of the board and the agency.
“I recalled the last time I paid a visit to your head office, the standard settings and quality operations that I saw were convincing enough to prove that you have the expertise in the business of travels and tours in Nigeria. We will ensure that this working relationship between us have positive impacts on both the board and the agency
“There is no doubt that you are a model, a man of high integrity and candour. Your love for humanity and fear of Almighty Allah is commendable. These sterling qualities of yours are very obvious and evident in your warm reception for me.
“Many travel agencies in the country have soiled their names in one scandal or the other, and especially financial scandal, but Aryfad travels company has remained a model and a leading light in the industry in Nigeria, these attributes and qualities motivated and encouraged me to come for the visit.
“Base on this, I want to assure you that we are ready to collaborate with you and also do business with you.
“We acknowledge your supports, contributions and philanthropist gestures to the well being of people in the state. You are indeed model and good figure for Islam. May Almighty Allah continue to bless your efforts.”
Sheikh Atere disclosed that the Board has Inaugurated a five member committee that will assist to strengthen the Hajj and Umurah department of the agency.
He said travel agencies ought to operate with fear of God and integrity in the discharge of their service, noting that Umurah and Hajj are the work of God which demands true service of sincerity of purpose from those saddled with the operation.
“By recommendation your agency has been acknowledged as of the best with high standard in Oyo State and Nigeria. You are one of the few travel agencies who merit the recognition of NAHCON, and by the grace of God the next exercise will be extended to Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan.”
Speaking earlier, Dr Adewale who is the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs, Ibadan the state capital expressed joy at the warm reception given to him, saying the visit was aimed at collaborating with the board on Hajj and Umurah services
Dr Adewale also used the occasion to commend the state governor Engr Seyi Makinde for appointing Sheikh Atere, a humble and Pius Muslim as Chairman of the board
“At Aryfad, high level of discipline, honesty, respect, humility and fear of God has been our hallmark and watch word. We accord respect to our numerous customers, we have been acknowledged for this, and God has helped the agency to grow from strength to strength.
“Like I said earlier on Umurah and Hajj services, I have been taking my time to ensure we get good, honest and sincere hands to work with us because we don’t compromise standard, and we have always been careful not to allow anyone soil our good name and identity.
The Aare Musulumi assured that the company would continue to improve upon its standard, while they uphold values of honesty and fear of Allah as a model in discharging quality service to their customers.
In her remarks, the secretary of the board, Alhaja Khodija Olanipekun described the meeting as a welcome development, saying the board is ready to collaborate with the agency.
She thanked Dr. Adewale for deeming it fit to honor the board with the visit.
