

Harrison Alonge Mourns Passing of Senator (Chief) Anthony Adeniyi, SAN @75

The Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Alonge Care Foundation and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), has expressed shock over the passing of Senator (Chief) Anthony Adeniyi, SAN, who died at the age of 75.
In a condolence message released through his media aide Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, Alonge described the late elder statesman as an accomplished legal practitioner, respected politician, and a committed son of Ikere Kingdom whose contributions to the growth and development of the community and the nation will remain indelible.
He noted that the late Chief Adeniyi served meritoriously as a member of the 7th National Assembly, Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Akure Branch, and Chairman of the defunct Omega Bank, where he distinguished himself through exemplary leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.
Alonge further recalled that until his demise, the deceased remained an active leader of the APC and a dedicated member of the Ikere Development Forum (IDF), consistently contributing his wealth of experience and wisdom to the advancement of Ikere Kingdom and Ekiti State.
According to him, the passing of Chief Adeniyi represents a great loss not only to his family but also to the people of Ikere-Ekiti, the legal profession, the political community, and all those who benefited from his mentorship and selfless service.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and urged the family, associates, and the entire people of Ikere Kingdom to take solace in the remarkable legacy of service, excellence, and community development he left behind.
