During the visit, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin commended the Commissioner of Police for the positive impact he has made within a short period of his deployment to Oyo State.

He also lauded the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in maintaining peace and security across the state.

The Speaker specifically appreciated the ongoing security operations aimed at securing the safe release of the abducted pupils and teachers, expressing confidence in the commitment and professionalism of security personnel involved in the rescue efforts.

Rt. Hon. He stressed the importance of strengthening intelligence gathering, increasing patrol operations and sustaining proactive policing strategies to safeguard lives and property, especially in vulnerable communities.

Discussions during the meeting also focused on the implementation of several resolutions recently adopted by the Oyo State House of Assembly in response to growing security concerns in different parts of the state.

Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin reaffirmed the commitment of the Oyo State House of Assembly to supporting all lawful and proactive measures aimed at enhancing security across the state.

He emphasized that the protection of lives and property remains a top priority of the legislature and expressed optimism that continued collaboration between the Assembly, security agencies and the Executive Arm of Government would further strengthen peace, stability and public confidence across Oyo State.
