The All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart from Ikere-Ekiti and France-based business mogul, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), has warmly welcomed to Ikere Kingdom the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), his deputy,Chief Monisade Afuye, and members of the governorship campaign council on their re-election campaign tour to Ikere Local Government Area.
In a statement released through his media aide, Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, and made available to the press, Alonge described the visit as a significant moment for the people of Ikere, noting that the coming of the governor and his team underscores their commitment to grassroots engagement and inclusive governance.
He commended the Oyebanji-led administration for its strides in infrastructure development, youth empowerment, economic growth, and social welfare across Ekiti State.
Alonge urged residents of Ikere-Ekiti and its environs to turn out in large numbers to receive the campaign team and to reaffirm their support for the BAO/MCA administration at the polls.
According to him, continuity in leadership will ensure the consolidation of ongoing projects and the delivery of more dividends of democracy to the people.
He further emphasized that the governor’s performance since assuming office has justified the confidence reposed in him by the electorate, adding that the administration has demonstrated transparency, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to the progress of Ekiti State.
While assuring the campaign team of a rousing reception in Ikere Kingdom, Alonge called on party faithful, community leaders, youths, and women groups to remain united and mobilize support for the APC, stressing that collective effort is key to achieving victory in the forthcoming election.
He concluded by expressing optimism that the people of Ikere and Ekiti State at large will once again entrust their mandate to Governor Oyebanji and his deputy, paving the way for sustained development, peace, and prosperity across the state.
