A former Senate Minority Leader, Sen. (Mrs)Biodun Olujimi, has formally submitted her nomination form under the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the Ekiti South Senatorial District seat, signaling her renewed commitment to public service.

Speaking with Walex Media Concepts shortly after completing the process, the former lawmaker assured party members and constituents of her dedication to effective representation if entrusted with the party’s ticket.
“If the party gives me the ticket, I will not disappoint APC. I will deliver the real dividends of democracy to every citizen of Ekiti South,” she stated.

Olujimi, who previously represented the district in the 8th Senate, is widely remembered for attracting developmental projects across communities within the senatorial district. Her supporters believe her track record positions her as a strong contender capable of delivering impactful governance once again.

Party stakeholders and loyalists in Ekiti South have continued to express optimism over her ambition, describing her return bid as a step toward sustained development and inclusive representation.

Her declaration has further energized political activities within the APC in Ekiti State, as preparations intensify ahead of the party’s primaries.
