Oluyole LG boss, urges Muslim faithful to uphold love, peace

The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji (Asiwaju of Oluyole), has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 2026 Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement released from the Council Secretariat in Idi-Ayunre, Engr. Olatunji urged the faithful to sustain the virtues of love, peace, and selflessness practiced during the holy month. He emphasized that the lessons of Ramadan should not end with the fast but should be integrated into daily life to foster communal harmony and development.

He said “Ramadan teaches us the importance of kindness and shared purpose,” the Chairman stated. “I encourage everyone to continue following the dictates of the Holy Quran, promoting peace and unity within our communities as we work together for the progress of Oluyole Local Government.”
Security and Festive Measures

In his words to ensure a joyful and safe festive season, Hon Akeem Olatunji announced that comprehensive measures have been implemented across all praying grounds in the local government area:
Security Deployment: Multi-agency security personnel, including the Nigerian Police, NSCDC, and Amotekun Corp, vigilante have been stationed at all major praying grounds and sensitive locations.

Hon Olatunji said following the recent happened of kidnapping,the security agency has done the needful and peace had returned, surveillance and response capabilities have been strengthened to ensure the safety of worshippers, even during late-night and early-morning activities.
Council Boss, promised that his administration will continues its commitment to grassroots welfare, aligned with the sustainable development agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde.

The Chairman further urged residents to remain observant and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate security agencies to maintain the relative peace in the area.
