The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige has expressed his heartfelt felicitation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency , Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his 58th birthday .
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement and made available to news men in Ibadan today.
Hon Ige described the governor as a visionary leader, a role model and a man of the people who has the interest of the people of the state at heart.
In his words, “on behalf of the management, entire members of staff, retired Local Government Staff and Public Primary School Teachers, i hereby felicitate our indefatigable Governor on his 58th birthday today, Thursday, 25th December, 2025. We pray that God in his infinite mercy will continue to endow you with more wisdom, long life in sound health.
” You have been a blessing to us in the pacesetter state through the implementation of various people centred policies, projects and programmes. Pensioners are also not left out in the scheme of things. We are happy to celebrate with you , Your Excellency Sir.”
“I also use this medium to congratulate Christians on the occasion of Christmas celebration. Christmas celebration is in commemoration of the birth of Christ which symbolizes love.”
Hon Ige then charged them to use the occasion to pray for peace, progress and stability of the country and Oyo State in particular.
He then urged them to imbibe sense of sharing , spirit of forgiveness and remember the less privileged in our society”
