The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja ahead his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Aare (Dr) Adewale described the ascension of Oba Ladoja to the throne as an act of God adding that this momentous occasion not only marks a new chapter in the illustrious history of Ibadan but also the celebration of remarkable journey of a distinguished son of the soil who has consistently exemplified service, leadership, and devotion to the people.
“Oba Ladoja is a respected statesman, consummate politician, and elder of uncommon wisdom, who has over the years demonstrated unwavering commitment to the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large. His enthronement as the Olubadan is a fulfillment of tradition, grace, and destiny — a testament to the resilience and rich heritage of the Ibadan traditional institution.
“For decades, Oba Ladoja has served his people in various capacities, including his tenure as the Executive Governor of Oyo State, where he distinguished himself with people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, and a leadership style anchored on humility and accessibility.
“His enduring contributions to education, healthcare, commerce, and community empowerment remain etched in the hearts of Ibadan indigenes and Nigerians across the country.
“The Olubadan throne is one of Africa’s most revered and structured traditional systems, renowned for its unique succession pattern and its embodiment of equity, patience, and respect for tradition.”
According to Aare (Dr) Adewale, with Oba Ladoja’s ascension, the stool gains a custodian whose deep knowledge of governance, diplomacy, and community service will surely elevate Ibadanland to greater heights of unity, peace, and prosperity.
Aare (Dr) Adewale who is the chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Adamasingba Ibadan noted that the ascension of Oba Ladoja is a divine blessing to Ibadanland at a time when strong, wise, and compassionate leadership is needed most.
” We are confident that under Oba Ladoja’s reign, Ibadan will continue to flourish as a beacon of culture, enterprise, and intellectual excellence, while serving as a unifying hub for Yorubaland and Nigeria.
