President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club worldwide, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo has mourned the death of former captain of the Green Eagles and coach of the Super Eagles, Christian Chukwu who died on Saturday.
Ladipo who noted that the deceased was one of the players who acknowledged the relevance and importance of support as well as roles played by fans, said the late former Green Eagles captain played patriotically and coordinated the team with everything God gave him.
He posited that Nigeria, Africa and the world mourns the exit of the Chairman as Chukwu is fondly referred to adding that his spirit will no doubt, Rest In Peace.
“ The great man, the man I adored and respected and who acknowledged the roles, importance , relevance and support fans play in football is gone
“ He served the nation patriotically and commanded his group well with everything God gave him.Indeed,Nigeria,Africa and the world mourns and would miss him dearly ” Ladipo said
