Oyo Lawmaker, Azeez Musibau (Action) Hails Alake Adeyemo on Appointment As APC Chairman, Seeks Party Unity, Pledges Support.

A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action), has congratulated a former Deputy Governor I’m the state, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo on his appointment as Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his emergence as a new dawn for the party in the state.

In a release shortly after the conclusion of the party’s state congress, Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action) commended party leaders, delegates, and stakeholders for conducting a peaceful, transparent, and credible exercise, adding that the orderly process reflects the maturity and internal democratic strength of the APC in Oyo State.

The lawmaker noted that; Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo emergence, a Former Deputy Governor, comes at a critical time when unity, reconciliation, and strategic leadership are essential to reposition the party for future electoral success.

He expressed confidence in the new chairman’s political experience, administrative competence, and ability to unify members across factions, urging him to prioritize inclusiveness and grassroots mobilization.

“Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo’s leadership presents a fresh opportunity to strengthen our structures from the ward level to the state level. I believe his experience and calm disposition will help consolidate our gains and rebuild confidence among members,” He said.

Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action) also extended congratulations to members of the newly elected State Executive Committee, urging them to approach their responsibilities with dedication, fairness, and a strong commitment to party discipline. He stressed that sustained engagement with party faithful across local governments and zones would be vital to fostering lasting unity.

He further appreciated the Former State Executives led by Alhaji Olayide Abass, The Oyo APC gladiators, and the Adhoc Zoning Committee chaired by Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, with Mr. Afeez Bolaji Repete as Secretary. Other committee members include Idris Adeoye, Adesoji Adedeji, Ajiboye Sangogade, and Akeem Olatunji, whose dedication ensured a smooth and credible congress.

Reaffirming his loyalty to the APC, Hon. Azeez Musibau (Action) pledged his full support and cooperation to the new leadership in advancing policies and strategies that will strengthen the party and promote good governance for the people of Oyo State.
