
President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth, Oyo state, Chief Wilfred Madu has called for the support of the new Ezendigbo elect of Ibadan land and Oyo state Eze Chief Matthias Jawachi Achinike whom he described as the Ezedigbo mma 11.
Recalled that Sir Chief Matthias Jawachi Achinike was announced as the new Ezendigbo elect by the Igbo Community Development Association (ICDA) and Ohanaeze Ndigbo,Oyo state chapter recently after a screening exercise in Ibadan.
Chief Madu who rallied support for the incoming Ezendigbo of Ibadan land stated that the entire Igbo youth are solidly behind him hence his call for the support for the incoming Royal Highness, Chief Achinike.
He described him as a a man of simplicity and humility apart from his honesty and straightforwardness noting that he is a very like-able personality who is without any blemish.
“Any where you mention the name of Chief Achinike as the incoming Ezendigbo; people are happy and speak of him with respect and satisfaction of his choice as the new Ezendigbo who is replacing the late Ezendigbo of Ibadan land and Oyo state, late Eze Dr Alex Chukwudum Anozie who transited to the great beyond in September 27,2023.
“ This new Ezendigbo has the same quality with the late Ezendigbo; Dr Anozie because he is man you can vouch for his integrity and honesty and when you mention his name among the Igbo, nobody speaks against him or has anything against him because he is of impeccable character” said Chief Madu who is also the Chairman of Igbo Traders Ekotedo Iyaolobe and Aniocha/ Njikoka local government town union meeting, Ibadan branch.
“ I would like to commend the Igbo Community Development Association (ICDA) Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Oyo state for selecting him from among others who contested with him ” he explained “ This incoming Ezendigbo is faultless because everyone likes him and I therefore implored all Igbos to rally round so that he will succeed in the task ahead of him” the Ohanaeze Youth President posited.
“ We the Ohanaeze Youth are ready to support him to succeed because he is people’s choice and needs our support to unite the Igbo besides being our cultural leader” he opined.
