


The President of the Non Indigenes Traditional Council of Ibadan and Oyo state( NITCIOS) His Royal Highness Prince Friday Ajofe Okoliko, the Onu Igala of Oyo state has advised the members of the body and non indigenes resident in the state to be law abiding apart from being peace loving and of exemplary conduct.
Speaking after NITCIOS monthly meeting held in Ibadan, His Royal Highness Prince Okoliko stated that the non indigenes should exhibit good attitude and being good neighbors besides being their brother’s keeper.
He noted that the motto of NITCIOS is peace and unity adding that this should serve as a guide to them wherever they are in the south west whether in Oyo, Ondo, Lagos,Ekiti and Osun state.
“Our motto is peace and unity and so therefore, I would like to enjoin all our members whether of Igbo, Urhobo, Igala, Hausa or Fulani, Igede or the Ebira as well the Akwa Ibom extraction to exhibit that exemplary conduct by being their brother’s keeper and a good neighbor “ he posited.
“ I am elated that we were able to hold our monthly meeting during which we discussed what is of common interest in a very conducive atmosphere with good results at the end of the day” Prince Okoliko noted.
“ With the spirit we displayed being that of love and unity, I would continue to plead with our members to live out this our motto; “Peace and Unity” because it has enhanced peaceful coexistence among the members just as I would seize the opportunity to implore our host here to continue to exhibit that peaceful and unity attitude and policy which have engendered peace and love and growth in the state and indeed the south west of Nigeria” he urged.
