Coach Akeem Busari of Pacesetter Queens Football Club of Ibadan has implored fans of the team to exercise patience pending when the team will begin to pose good results in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL)
The team founded this year by the state government has lost three matches consecutively ; one home and two away matches.
However, Coach Busari who has tutored Bayelsa Queens to win the last NWFL league stated that patience is required now before things can turn around for good in terms of results adding that he took over the reigns of the team less than ten days to the beginning of the NWFL when nothing could be done .
He explained than in this situation nothing spectacular could be done as teams in the league had engaged qualify players in the league with the remaining one being the younger and inexperienced ones which can not engender good results in the league.
Coach Busari said that with the second half of the the NWFL in the horizon, Pacesetter Queens of Oyo state will engage quality players who will change the tide of things noting that what can be done now is stabilize the team while the team may begin to have ideas about ending reasonably in the NWFL league later.
“ I enjoined fans and supporters of the Pacesetters Queens to rally round the team instead of deserting because of poor results “he stated.
“ What rather should be done is encourage the coaches and the players to post good results instead of remaining aloof or showing apathy “ Coach Busari posited.
