The Igbo Community Development Association ( ICDA) / Ohanaeze Ndigbo of Oyo state wishes to dissociate itself from the proposed Ohanaeze election being organized by the Senior Special Assistance to Governor Seyi Makinde on Community Development ( Igbo Matters ) Honorable Innocent Nwosu Tallest on December 14,2024.
Honorable Tallest does not have the mandate of Oyo Ohanaeze/ICDA or its headquarters in Enugu just as he is not a member of the body and as such does not have the authority to do so.
According to the Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo/ ICDA Chief Godwin Ngwu anyone who participates in the election does so for himself as he or she does not represent the interest of ICDA/ Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oyo state as Ohanaeze is composed of town unions and not individual based just as any one contesting election must be presented by his or her town union.
