The Chairman, Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) Oyo State Chapter, Ambassador Opeyemi Ayanrinde has reiterated the commitment of his tenure to further improve the standard of the broadcasting profession in order to uphold the ethics of the profession.
Ambassador Ayanrinde who is fondly addressed as MC SWAGGER gave the assurance at a round table get together/meeting of stakeholders and members where he official Inaugurated some personalities as members of the Advisory Council of ANBROAD at KS Motel, Ibadan.
According to him, essence of the meeting was to bring elders and members of the association together to rob minds and fine tune measures to drive the association forward.
Ambassador Ayanrinde hinted that starting from August, 22, 2024, the nomenclature of his office will change from Chairman to Governor when they hold their national Congress.
“The programme was designed to seek the support and experience of the elders of the association in order to move ANBROAD to the next level, and we also Inaugurated some people of substance as members of Advisory Council for ANBROAD. This is aimed at moving the association forward in the right direction. I really thank the members for the encouraging turn out.
The new members of the Advisory Council Inaugurated are Hon. Akin Olufunmilayo, Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Hon. Wasiu Olatunbosun Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Dotun Oyelade, Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, Chairman, Egbeda Local Government.
Others are Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, DR. Salami Dikko Chairman Pacesetter Transport Services Oyo State, Alhaji Akeem Senior Personal Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Akeem Akintola Kuzo, Chairman Tipper and Lorry, Omo-Oba Ajani Akinrinade Adeyemi (DEYEM

Ambassador Ayanrinde assured members of the association of an open door policy, such that will create room for rapid development of everyone.
In his address, Bashorun Gboyega Lawal a veteran broadcaster and Chairman Board of Trustees commended the initiative of the Ayanrinde, describing him as a worthy leader.
He encouraged him to be proactive in his course to move the association forward.
Speaking, Alhaji Kola Akintayo popularly known as “Ode Ilu Ibadan lauded that stride of the chairman adding that initiative like this will continue to earn him respect and popularity in the industry.
Also speaking, the Matron of ANBROAD in the state, Chief Mrs Olajumoke Lawal described the round table get together meeting as a welcome development, just as she commended the understanding of the members to amicably move the association forward.
Chief (Mrs) Lawal, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Egbeda Local Government, and fondly addressed as Mama Pineapple appealed to them to cooperate and support the administration of Ambassador Ayanrinde in order to achieve excellence.
