The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Honourable Kamorudeen Mudashiru has appealed to the Chief of Staff, fourteen Supervisors, and fourteen Special Assistants not to use their positions as an avenue to take their portion in the national cake of this Country but to use their offices with the fear of God and contribute their quotas to the betterment of the People and upliftment of the society.
Honorable Mudashiru made the statement on Friday, 19th July 2024 at the headquarters of the Council, Iyana-Offa during the swearing-in ceremony of Chief of Staff, fourteen Supervisors and fourteen Special Assistants.
The executive chairman reiterated the commitment of his Administration to an open-door policy of administering the Local Government with equity, justice, and fair play in distributing dividends of Democracy to all nooks and crannies of the Local Government without Political or Religious affilations.
Speaking further, He thanked God for the gift of life, and the first Citizen of the State,His Excellency, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE who made his candidature possible and eventually won the Local Government Election that made him the Executive Chairman of the Local Government.
Hon Mudashiru thanked the entire people of Lagelu Local Government who voted for him and assured them that He would justify the confidence reposed in him.
Honourable Kamorudeen enjoined all the members of Staff to cooperate and be loyal to his Government as more dividends of Democracy are still coming, in less than three months, He has brought in cooperative Societies where his friend is the Director where a member can access three hundred percent of his/her savings.
The ceremony was well-attended by the vice-chairman and Political head of Lagelu North LCDA, Honourable Raji O. Sadiq; former chairman of the Council; Honourable Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi; Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party in the Local Government; Women’s wing; PDP Party faithfuls. Leader of the Legislative Arm, Honourable, Idogbe Aduragbemi and other Councillors.
Also, the acting Head of the Local Council Area of Lagelu North, Oyedeji, Mrs.
CBO Ojo; the Acting Head of Lagelu West Local Council Development Area,Olounda, Mrs. Akinrinde Funmilola Deborah.
Others were,the Director of Administration and Social Services, Mr Olaniran Babatunde; Director of Finance and Supplies, Alhaji Hamed Lamidi; Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs Sade Opatade; Director of Environment and Health Services, Mrs Joke John; Deputy Director of Administration and General Services, Mr Akande Olusegun; NULGE CHAIRMAN, Com Olusoji Folorunso Ayinla and other members of Staff.
