The Chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, Dr. Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has congratulated the new Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Ayodele Sonubi on his assumption of duty in the state.
Dr. Raymond who described. the new Commissioner of Police as a man of high intelligence admonished him to bring his professional experience to action, saying his good records when he was in Charge of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Iyaganku, Oyo State Police Command, and as the Deputy Commissioner of Police earned him the promotion.
His words: “I congratulate you on your assumption of office as the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, there is no doubt that Oyo state will witness peace and tranquility under your watch as the Commissioner of Police, and I want to urge you to deploy your full policing architecture to further secure the state.”
“I want to also admonish you to deploy professional policing principles adopted by your predecessor who has be redeployed to the Counter Terrorism Unit, FHQ, Abuja, which led to a solid structural framework for policing the State.
Mr Sonubi until his elevation as Commissioner of Police, was in Charge of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Iyaganku, Oyo State Police Command, and as the Deputy Commissioner of Police. He succeeded the former CP, Mr Adebola Hamzat.
Dr Raymond who is the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, while calling for cooperation of the people of the state, assured the new Police boss of his support while in office in the state.
